Purpose
This task enables you to reflect on and evaluate your learning experiences as a result of undertaking vocational learning in a workplace.
Description of assessment
You prepare a report to review and reflect on your vocational learning experience in a workplace. Your report should demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of practices in the workplace, workplace conditions and workplace cultures, and draw from your own practical experiences in a workplace.
You might like to use the following questions to guide your review and reflection:
• What type of work activities / tasks did you complete during your work placement?
• What did you observe regarding the following:
o workplace practices
o work environments
o work health & safety
o equal opportunity
o communication in the workplace
o conditions of work
o culture and values of the workplace?
Ensure you express your own opinions about different routines and procedures that you either observed or participated in during your time in the workplace.
