Violate a Social Norm

Youll need to choose one informal norm to violate [do NOT break a law, do not disrupt other professors classes, do not dramatize any racial or sexually violent scenarios (e.g. sexual assault, sexual/racial harassment)] in a public area. To complete the assignment, you will need to break the SAME informal norm three (3) times but with different groups or at different times of day or in different location

Paint me a picture of where and how you broke your norm (be sure to use chapter vocab). Im curious to know how did the people who saw your break a norm respond to you, how did they look at you, did you receive any looks or did someone say something to you? If you got looks or someone said something, write it down and tell me about it. Also, tell me how you felt when you broke your norm, did you feel awkward, anxious, embarrassed if so write it down and tell me about it.

Basically just make it up anything the professor isnt strict on essays he even gives an outline here it is

  4. Describe what you will do to violate the norm.
