Students should focus on one theme or key point in the reading(s). It is very likely your response paper will only cover one reading. Page number references should be used for direct quotes, though use of direct quotes is discouraged.
You should 1) summarize the concept or argument from the reading, 2) provide an original example or application, and 3) offer a critique of the argument.
Grades will be based on 1) organization and clarity or writing, 2) discussion of the topic, and 3) inclusion of all necessary parts.

Response papers should be 2 double spaced pages in length.
