Written Exercise
The paper must be in APA format and include a cover page, abstract, discussion, conclusion, and references. The Written Exercise paper should go beyond the obvious, be written at a graduate level, and must be at least 1,000 words in length (excluding the required title page, abstract, and reference page). Students must use at three or more resources to support their position. Remember, all resources including, but not limited to, journals, magazines, and/or books must be properly cited using APA style.

Background:
The FEMA IS-241B course introduces a number of decision making and problem solving concepts and principles. As the course serves to highlight, decision making and problem solving are critical skill areas for anyone working as part of the emergency response community. Professionals working in this arena must have the ability to make sound, timely decisions in an emergency. Oftentimes, decisions can have a significant impact on both emergency responders and the general public in times of crisis. Moreover, decisions made can determine how quickly a community is able to recover from an event.

Please reflect on the IS-241B course materials, and identify a minimum of 5 concepts/principles introduced in the course. One of the concepts must be the 5-step Problem Solving Model. However, you are free to select the other remaining concepts/principles. Next, please critically analyze the applicable concepts/principles and how each can be applied to:
