Purpose: The purpose of the annotated bibliography is to give you the opportunity to demonstrate the results of your literature search activities, to show the relevance, the accuracy, and the quality of the sources you used in your capstone project. Instructions: For each of the 10 articles write a 250-word annotation to include Information about the source including the background information about the author Positive and negative points of the source The finding of the research study How this source is relevant to your topic What information does this source contribute to your research question? How does the source relate to other sources in your bibliography? Does the source appear to be biased? If so, how is it biased? If it’s an article, what are the strengths and weaknesses of the article? How does the source fit into your research paper? Is it useful? Why is it useful? Assessment: Include every article that you used for your final capstone project. Be sure to include any article that you may have used for your background and significance, theoretical model, etc. There needs to be a minimum of 10 articles. Annotations must be in APA current format. They must be in your own words and not contain any direct quotations. Each annotation must be 250 words or more. The Turn-it-in score needs to be less than 30%. |
