You will need to focus on the introduction (ending in an effective thesis for this essay) and the first two body paragraphs elaborating on the problem – description/history – causes, and effects.
One suggestion to organize these body paragraphs would be:
P1 focusing on the context of the problem – history/description and main causes
P2 elaborating on the seriousness of the problem and its effects. No solution yet please!
Remember that your analysis of the problem relies on arguments to prove its seriousness (and effects) so bring support with evidence. Your first draft should not exceed two pages following the conventions for MLA guidelines for formatting, academic language, and grammar correctness.
