You will research and compose a 4-6 page Social Development Implications paper that addresses the following criteria:
- Identify three prevalent disabilities specific to your age group in alignment with typical milestones/development (i.e. Autism, ADHD, auditory processing, developmental delays, dyslexia, hearing impairments, learning disabilities, visual impairment) and discuss the relevancy to your setting/contextual factors.
- Select one of the identified disabilities and discuss the possible impacts and implications on the social development of the learner.
- Identify how this disability may impact learners’ information processing
- Address the role of the care-giver/teacher to optimize the learner’s achievement and efficacy while minimizing social/emotional exclusions from the peer group.
