In this task we will explore the role of human resource management in today’s environment and in the HR world of tomorrow.
Human Resource Management can trace its humble beginnings to the field of Personnel Administration which emerged in the United States around the 1920s. Personnel Administration was focused on the technical side of hiring, evaluating, training and compensating employees. The field of Human Resource Management, which we are focused on in this term, formally emerged in the late 1970s as a response to pressures from globalization, deregulations and changes in technology.
