Least 5 Appropriate Summary Research Methods B
In an attempt to learn more about forklift accidents, your research team conducted some descriptive research by randomly observing several drivers during their shifts and talking with warehouse team leaders about this problem. Your observations and discussions seemed to indicate that older drivers who were less educated had more safety violations and were involved in more accidents. To follow up on these findings, you gathered additional data about these and other forklift driver characteristics to see whether age, education level, or other variables predicted on-the-job accidents. These data are displayed in the table below.

1. Use Excel to calculate correlation coefficients between the number of safety incidents over the last two years for this sample of drivers to each other variable for which a correlation coefficient is an appropriate measure.
2. Write one sentence that summarizes the relationship you found between number of incidents and each other variable you examined.
3. Based on your results, describe an experiment you would conduct in an attempt to identify a cause of safety incidents. Be sure to state your research hypothesis and identify the IV and DV in your proposed experiment.
