Following Apa Outline Bullying Effects On Studen
There is no mid-term exam. But there is a scholarly mid-term paper due. Each student will write a 5-7-page Topic Paper in APA format, not including title and reference page.
Students will need to find a minimum of two empirical peer-reviewed journal articles. References must be cited for the assignment to be considered complete.
You need these items in your paper to get full points
1) 5-7 pages in APA format not including title & reference page
2) You need a minimum of two empirical peer-reviewed journal articles.
3) References MUST be cited throughout your paper.
4) Your paper needs to incorporate readings, lectures, peer-reviewed articles, AND cultural references to your topic.
Example: The role of social media in teenage anxiety levels. If you selected this topic you will need to mention at least a paragraph on culture. In this case, I would take a positive approach, for example, on social media being a vehicle for transcultural and language learning. You could include both positive and possible issues.
If you have any questions, let me know.
I can’t extend the date or time.
**see attached Rubric on how you will be graded**
**There is a cultural component added to the Rubric**
This paper will follow the following APA outline-
*Please note, you will not need a method, procedures, and results section for this paper.
- Don’t forget Title Page with Running head
- “Introduction & Thesis Statement” – This should be one of the strongest parts of your paper. Convince the reader your paper is worth the time to read. Be precise, impactful, factual, and use strong quotes if you wish but not cliche’s. The thesis statement needs to be stating your argument or your position on the topic. Be specific. Explore this link for examples of bad and good thesis statements. https://examples.yourdictionary.com/thesis-statement-examples.html (Links to an external site.)
- “Literature Review” – Discuss the various sources of material (scholarly articles, lecture, text) and their contribution to the current knowledge about your topic. Consider using Google Scholar and Easy Bib.
- “Discussion” – Here you state what you learned or proved. Summarize your “take-a-ways” and speculate on how you might apply the concepts or principles in your paper to development.
- “Conclusion” – Restate your thesis in this section and detail the limitations of your findings and suggestions for future research. Any other conclusions you made go in this section to tie up your entire paper for the most impact.
- “Reference Page” – List all your references using APA format.

This criterion is linked to a learning outcome Cultural Component Somewhere in your paper, there needs to be a paragraph on culture. How does your topic relate to culture? This paragraph can be positioned anywhere in the paper that makes sense. If you feel it makes more sense to your topic to implement cultural components throughout the paper and not include a separate paragraph, it needs to be evident to the reader. |
