Adaptive Management Plan Guidelines for EVSP501 Environmental Management

This session you will select a controversial topic in environmental management and craft an adaptive management plan. You must gain instructor approval for the topic in the first assignment of the course (in the Topic Selection Exercise in the beginning of class). Do not proceed without instructor approval. This final plan will cover the *same* topic you have been using all course long with the presentations and discussions.
There is no one specific format with set headers that absolutely must be used for every adaptive management plan ever written, but below is a guideline of the sections expected for the purposes of this course. We will build the content for many of these throughout the session.
Note that the paper and all references should be formatted in APA style, 7th edition. Our library and the APUS e-press have relevant guides and resources for you to consult. Keep in mind that each section will range in length, you are encouraged to include graphics, and you are writing for a professional, scientific audience. You are expected to include scholarly research to support the management plan. The final document should be no more than 15 pages of text, excluding the title page, reference list, and any figures or tables included in the document. Note that the page length identified below is meant as a guide. This is likely your first attempt at writing an adaptive management plan, so keep it manageable and focused.
