Use the Reading Graphic Organizer (RGO) to record those scripture
As you complete the assigned readings this week, use the Reading Graphic Organizer (RGO) to record those scripture that align to your assigned and chosen theme clusters.
Hint for Success: Download and fill out your RGO as you read along in your Bible. As you read, think “What is this passage or story about? What is its core meaning?” You may or may not see the actual words of your Theme Clusters, but look for examples of them being lived out in the verses you read.
Bible Readings
Joshua 1-2, 6, 24 | God commissions Joshua |
Joshua 6 | Rahab helps the Israelites, Jericho falls |
Joshua 24 | Choose whom you will serve |
Judges 7 | Gideon |
Judges 16 | Samson |
1 Samuel 1 | Hannah |
1 Samuel 3 | The call of Samuel |
1 Samuel 16 | David anointed king |
1 Samuel 17 | David & Goliath |
2 Samuel 5 | David becomes king over Israel |
2 Samuel 7 | God’s promise to David and David’s prayer |
2 Samuel 11-12 | David & Bathsheba, Nathan’s rebuke |
Psalm 51 | David’s repentance for his sin with Bathsheba |
Book of Philippians | Reread Philippians in preparation for your final paper |
As you are reading the Bible fill out the RGO. When you find a scripture that is about one of your Theme Clusters, list it on the RGO.
Then you will choose the BEST example of the scriptures you added to your RGO for EACH of your four Theme Clusters. For your initial post you will write a brief summary or description of each scripture and what it means to you, where you see God’s character and plan.
I have attached a word file from my previous work, please use the same file, just remove my previous work and add new verses that go with my four themes. My theme clusters are included
