You must cite at least one relevant primary source in each essay.

You may use your notes, textbook, PowerPoints, and any other material from class. You may NOT use any other sources including the internet.

You must cite from where in the textbook or notes that you found your information; in other words, page numbers from the textbook or dates of your notes, etc.

Try not to use informal language, for example, contractions.

You must write in paragraphs. In case you are not sure, a paragraph is a sentence or a group of sentences that support a main idea that is often found in a topic sentence. Typically, a paragraph is 3-5 sentences long.
