Protestants believe in the right and privilege of each person to interpret the Bible. Unlike Catholicism, where the ultimate authority is the pope and the church. The church teaches that a person’s greater responsibility is simply to obey what the church demands. With Protestants, there is a need to teach with joy and gracefully rely on the assistance of fellow Christians.
