Discusses the role of successful leadership in making high performance organizations. The Organizational and Leadership Culture Assessment Paper is a 1000-1200 word assessment of the organizational and leadership cultures of a local or regional organization and how strategic leadership skills and competencies covered in the course would help the organization advance its strategic vision. Through this assignment participants demonstrate what is necessary for a leader to lead an organization through the change process and toward realizing the strategic vision. Participants can choose successful or failed organizations to assess, whether it’s an organization they have worked for in the past, present or an organization they would like to learn more about. The actual name of the organization does not need to be identified. The paper will not be graded for the participant’s detailed knowledge of the organization, but rather their understanding of the course’s concepts in leadership and ability to assess and analyze organizational and leadership cultures.
