My topic is Employee’s Role in Service Delivery

To help educate your peers and myself on emerging trends in hospitality marketing, you are to find an article from a credible media source on a current (within a month) hospitality marketing event that deals with the lecture topic of your presentation day. Your presentation is to be conducted at the beginning of class and should span no more than 5 minutes. Specifically, you need to present the issue in your own words, take a stance on the issue, and discuss the implications for management. In addition to presenting, you are to provide a link to the article, submit a brief write-up on your topic (approximately 1~2 typed pages) and at least 2 page of PowerPoint slides. You need to submit a softcopy of your (1) write-up and (2) PowerPoint slides to the CANVAS corresponding assignment, and (3) post a link to the article in the CANVAS Current Event discussion thread before your presentation.
A list of dates will be provided in the beginning of the semester for you to sign up for current event presentations. Presentation opportunities will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. You should not select an article that was presented by other classmates. Please refer to the grading guidelines below for the specific criteria that must be satisfied in order to receive full credit.

Grading guidelines for current event presentation:
0% Current event not presented and not turned in by the due date 3% Current event not presented but turned in by the due date
3% Current event presented but not turned in by the due date
4% Current event presented and turned in on time, but the analysis of the
topic is weak
5% Current event presented and turned in on time and relatfstes to the class
topic of the week
