Bretton Woods Ski Area Interns will rotate through different outlets to gain a comprehensive understanding of ski operations and the ski resort industry. Interns will be responsible for ensuring that all guest concerns are resolved according to company standards.
Responsibilities:
Paid Internship focused in Ski Resort Operations with ability to gain experience in other departments at the Resort for a more well-rounded internship including Front Office, Guest Services, F&B, Spa, Housekeeping, Culinary, and more.
Intern must be flexible in schedule and location, and open-minded as this is an experience-focused internship to gain exposure to the Ski Area, Hotels and Resorts, and the Hospitality Industry.
Schedules are distributed weekly to associates and may include a variety of shifts including daytime and evening shifts.
Shift location and times will depend on the business demands.
Qualifications:
Preferred that interns experience the full Ski Season with a start date of November/December and end date of March, however this is very flexible.
Must lead by example, remain professional in all situations.
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations.
Must be effective in handling problems in workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
Must be flexible with schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
Start date anticipated for this internship is Winter 2020. End date is flexible. Housing based on availability.
