Writing-Across-The-Curriculum (WAC)  Your first writing assignment will be on how computers and computer systems are used in your major or chosen career field. You can write from the standpoint of a student or potential employee in your career field. If you include an interview from someone (not a fellow student) associated with your major or career field, you will receive bonus points. You will need to include information on the hardware and software that is used (BOTH, not either/or). In addition, include information on the impact of the Internet.

Conduct research on the topic and TYPE a report of your findings. (Use a word processing program that is compatible with and supports uploading files to Blackboard and will open on Instructor’s PC.) You must use reputable sources. You can use articles from the Internet (not Wikipedia), printed material, or other electronic media (3 to 5 sources in total). You must give proper credit to information you cite in your paper (in text citations) and include a bibliography on a separate sheet at the end of your report. Use either the APA or MLA writing style.
