There are certain socioeconomic factors that prevent people from seeking and receiving healthcare. Cost and access are two of the largest factors in preventing patients from seeking care. Patients care may require medical tests, medications, and treatments – which can become quite expensive. In developing countries, there are organizations that provide funding to allow all citizens to receive some form of public health including preventive care.
