Paper must include an “ice breaker” in the beginning, an explanation of why you
selected the venue for the offsite, and summarize a “takeaways recap” for an implementation plan at
the end of the keynote – including a plan for a task force and follow up.
This exercise will allow students to understand the purpose and nature of offsites, will span all
functional areas, and will afford each student the opportunity to focus on these three ‘hot topics’.
