After completing the assigned readings, select a criminal justice-related issue (for example, underage drinking), then conceptualize the issue, that is, define the issue (binge drinking – consumption of six or more alcoholic beverages on one occasion). Next, provide an operational definition, which is the steps or operations that will indicate the value of a concept (How many times have you consumed alcohol in the past week?). Lastly, identify which level of measurement will be produced by the operational definition and explain why. (The level of measurement would be ratio since a research participant could answer 0 times and it would be a true zero point).
Your initial posting should be 250-500 words and must be submitted by Thursday, midnight, of this week. It should cite at least one credible resource (the textbook, module lecture, required and recommended readings are excellent resources).
