Term Paper Topic Selection
An individual term paper is required to be submitted no later than week 12.You should submit the proposed topic for your paper for the instructor’s approval by the end of Week 2 here.
The paper will address a topic from the covered chapters of the eText or a topic related to Managing with Information Systems. The focus of the paper will be sufficiently narrow to address in depth a specific area, e.g. a sub-topic or sub-sub-topic of a chapter. Examples of topics are:
Digital Systems
Design of Work
Security
The Business of Information Technology
Governance of the Information Systems Organization
Information Systems Sourcing
Managing IT Projects
Business Intelligence
Knowledge Management
Analytics
The paper should address a specific company or industry related to your topic. For example, you could investigate how Apple or Ford uses analytifstcs to formulate business strategy.
