I work as a trainer in an established telecommunications company. I have already introduced the TNA (Training Needs Analysis) for our office. Previously we had no real method in place to evaluate the effectiveness of training. We now do side by side after training with each representative to ensure that the learning was transferred, and if it wasn’t, be offered additional training. We also utilize round table in the classroom to ensure that we get more engagement from trainees. Before some employees had their backs to the trainer, there would be cell phone usage and sidebar conversations. The roundtable seating has improved training engagement.
