1) DISCUSSION POST

You have reached the end of this course. Many of you took this course as part of your concentration in project management while others took it as an elective. What are the top three things that you learned about project management that you did not know?

2) PEER REVIEW #1 (AMBER)

Hello Class –

This class was an elective for me, but I really enjoyed it. I definitely learned a lot that will follow me in whatever this degree will lead me. The top three things I learned in this course that I didn’t know before were, what EMV is and what it does, scope and the importance of it to a project, and finally the different project management structures and how they effect the project’s success.

All three of the assignments are something that will also follow me to my future. I stated in the assignment that while I was writing about a real-life scenario, I knew and understand that what I wrote wasn’t a complete guideline for a business I want to start. But it could be considered a helpful and small guideline to help me know where I should start.

I wish everyone the best of luck with future classes and degrees.

-Amber

3) PEER REVIEW #2(HEATHER)

I took this class as an elective in my business administration degree with a concentration of health services administration. I chose to take this class because I have participated in projects at work before and had interest in the management side of the project. I aspire to be an operations manager in my company someday and I think the information in this course will be helpful in my future position. The top three things I learned about project management that I did not know before that I will take with me into my career are: how to break up tasks into individual items, how to calculate project status through Earned Value Management, and how to schedule resources appropriately. Ultimately, I’m glad I chose to take this class as an elective because I think it is directly applicable to my work and career path.
