Chapter 7 and Chapter 8, Your Biographical Speech Main Points Assignment

Let’s keep on working on your biographical speech by developing your main points of your speeches! I know some of you are thinking, why are we working on a speech if it isn’t due tomorrow? There is reason to my madness, and I promise this hard work will pay off! Hang in there–we are getting to presenting our speeches but, we have to do the leg work first! 

Get started by:
First, start doing some research on your topics, be sure to use the Getting Started: Library Resources and and go to the databases link to find solid peer-reviewed sources. You can review this short video if you are unsure of how to find peer-reviewed sources:

 I suggest that if you find a resource that may be helpful in your speech, you go ahead and get your citing information now to reduce confusion and late-night searches to find something you knew you saw but now can’t find it again.
