Chapter 3 powerpoint

For this assignment you will create a seven (7) slide minimum PowerPoint presentation outlining the three phases of the policymaking process. Your presentation can be audio recorded, or typed out in the notes section of each presentation slide (your choice), but verbal or text elaboration on each slide must be done.

Your Power Point slide presentation should be succinct, or to the point, but your verbal or text elaboration should convey in short technical type writing the most important points that you seek for the viewers of the PowerPoint presentation to receive and their meaning.

If you choose not to use verbal/audio for each slide then use the notes section of Power Point to make your written descriptive statement, the slide shall be bullets points only.

Please see the URL below on making and innovative power point presentation:

It is suggested that you start with writing an outline. Identify the points that you wish to convey to the viewers of the PowerPoint presentation. For example: for slide one your PowerPoint page will outline the three phases of the policymaking process, your verbal or written notes section will describe what each of the three phases actually are.

Here is a suggested outline for your PowerPoint presentation:

Slide One: Introduction – Draw or insert a schematic model of the three phases of the public policymaking process. Include an audio or written discussion in the notes section of the slide which describes the general features of the model drawn.

Slide Two: Phase 1 break down. Include an audio or written discussion in the notes section of the slide

Slide Three: Phase 2 break down. Include an audio or written discussion in the notes section of the slide

Slide Four: Phase 3 break down. Include an audio or written discussion in the notes section of the slide

Slide Five: Synthesis (bring it all together) – Include an audio or written discussion of the policymaking process.

Slide Six: Conclusion

Slide Seven: Reference(s)

Here is a how-to document for adding speaker notes to the notes section of each slide (if you are not doing audio):

Your paper should be saved as a PowerPoint file only NOT PDF, GOOGLE DOCS, OR ANY OTHER FORMAT.
Submit your paper through TurnitIn located herein. Email submissions will not be accepted.

I will be able to see your speaker notes when I download your PowerPoint slides. As long as you uploaded the right file type, don’t worry if you don’t see the notes in your upload.
