Your task is to write a theoretical explanation of the high mortality right in Central African Republic. The theoretical explanation can A political, economic, or social theory. You will need to do research on Central African Republic infant mortality rate to know what to write.
THIS PAPER MUST BE IN APA FORMAT AND CITE IN APA.
I WANT NO GRAMMATICAL ERRORS AND NO PLAGIARISM.
I HAVE PROVIDED A LINK BELOW IF YOU ARE CONFUSED ON WHAT A THEORETICAL EXPLANATION LOOKS LIKE. https://economics.mit.edu/files/4123
HERE ARE SOME THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND WHILE YOU ARE WRITING. YOU NEED TO BACK UP THE THEORY WITH EVIDENCE. YOU ARE MAKING AN ARGUING USING THEORETICAL EXPLANATION OF WHY CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC MORTALITY RATE IS HIGH COMPARED TO DEVELOPED COUNTRIES
Is the argument convincing? Is it logical and plausible? Do you provide evidence to support the
argument? Does the evidence you report directly support the argument? Is the argument well-
developed, well-organized and well-written?
FOLLOW THIS FORMAT PROVIDED BY THE TEACHER
1. YOUR TASK (Theory and Data Analysis):The goal of this phase is two-fold: 1. Develop a theory: make a logical cause-effect argument (i.e., have a theory) about how your variable (e.g. corruption, bad institutions, colonialism) influences the development outcome you have chosen (e.g. education, health, GDP/Capita). Try to do this based on a logical argument without referring yet to your cases or data. Do not confuse correlation with causation. If you are going to argue one thing causes another, then provide a theory and discuss how the causing happens. In other words, you are providing a plausible explanation for the question you posed in the first phase of the project. Aim at being specific and explain in detail how one variable affects the other
2. Data Analysis: present your country and whatever evidence/data you’re going to use to support your argument. These are not two separate parts of the paper, instead they need to be written together.
The paper should be 2 pages single-spaced in length. At the top of the page, all I require is your name. The reference/bibliography page is not counted towards the 2-page requirement. You must consult and cite at TWO NEW SOURCES other than those assigned in class (although you certainly may use and cite course material) and include formal citations and a bibliography. For descriptions of current events, some sources to start with are The Economist, The New York Times, and Financial Times. LexisNexus is an on-line library database that is a good source for newspapers. Although not required, if you would like to consult statistical data about your country, a good place is “Data and Research” at http://databank.worldbank.org/data/home.aspx
