In this Forum you are asked to post on one of two questions, though like in the previous week’s Forum you are required to post at least one original response to the question and two responses to other students. Remember to engage and have fun.

Choose one of the two topics:

1) What does the “Guiding of Intelligence Collection” (Collection.pdf) document and “Spy at Your Service” (Articulation.pdf) say is crucial about defining an intelligence collection question? Why is knowing exactly what is needed necessary to all subsequent intelligence functions (analysis and finished product dissemination and acceptance)? (Both readings are declassified CIA documents.)
