This unit has focused on pollution prevention (P2) strategies. The unit lesson presented examples of a company evaluating strategies for plastic bottle manufacturing and metal beam purchases. The textbook chapters offered source reduction options and introduced recycling methods.
For this assignment, write an essay that meets the criteria outlined below.
Analyze at least two of the four source reduction options listed in the textbook.

In addition to your textbook, you must utilize at least two peer-reviewed articles from the CSU Online Library (one in support of a source reduction option and one in support of a recycling option). In your paper, limit the number of direct quotations from references. The vast majority of your paper should contain paraphrased information from your sources and should include your own thoughts on source reduction and recycling.
Your essay should be at least three full pages in length. A title page and references page must be included; however, these pages will not count toward meeting the minimum page requirement. Adhere to APA Style when constructing this assignment, including in-text citations and references for all sources that are used. Please note that no abstract is needed.
