Interview someone you know who is married and ask them to tell you about their wedding.
Please don’t tell us about your wedding –the point is to do an interview! And don’t tell us it was a “traditional” ceremony unless you tell us what tradition because we are not all from the U.S or Christians.
Were there any traditions or customs involved in the ceremony? If so, what did they mean? Did the couple blend cultural traditions, or create their own ceremony? Ask as many questions as you need to get a full picture of their wedding. Let us know what they told you.
Then, your assignment is to tell us how their wedding was influenced by their culture. Remember, culture also involves family, society, politics, economics, institutions, and so on. Tell us how these things influenced the wedding of your interviewee.
