Prompt: In Chapter 7, you studied multiple individuals’ contributions to rhetorical thought. For this assignment, you must first select one of the following individuals: Lorenzo Valla, Madame de Scudery, Joanna Vaz, Christine de Pisan, Pico della Mirandola, Agricola, and Petrarch. After you have made your selection, find at least two sources other than the textbook to serve as research material (Wikipedia does not count!). Using these sources answer the following prompt:
Who is the person that you selected? Write about their background. How did they view rhetoric in education during the era of the Renaissance and what was their contribution to rhetorical thought?
