Different people need different training methods because people learn differently. Everyone’s learning style are not the same. Some persons learn independently without the need of a facilitator, conversely, it may be easier for others to comprehend if trained by a facilitator. Secondly, training methods are different depending on the nature of the training. For example: Training for a Sheriff Department officers training to use a taser or a mace must experience the effects of these weapons’ vs training methods for investigation which may be via a technological device. Thirdly, different people may need different training methods because of learning ability/different levels of education. The trainee’s levels of education may be the deciding factor of what training method should be used. For example: some employees have job experience vs education, while others have education vs job experience. Employees with on the job experience only may require continuous training while those with a higher education may understand in one training session. Their learning abilities differ; therefore, they must be trained using different training methods.
Classmate 2 Melvin
Different people require different training methods because we all comprehend and learn things differently. For example, we all fall in different learning styles groups. You could be Visual, Aural, Verbal, Physical, Logical, social, or a Solitary learner. Many of us are a mixture of more than just one learning style. If you look at the “TSA” there training at “FLETC” used a numerous of training styles but the majority of it was verbal and hands on training. This was the same for me in the military as well. I guess in most training if you say it, have them read it, then physically demonstrate it. Then have them do it too. You will then be able to cover most learning styles and reach a larger amount of your audience.
