Post Please Tell Us 2Choose One Or Two Questions
During this week I would like you to write about your experience the last few days or last week wearing your new pedometer. You don’t have to answer all of these questions, they are here to give you some topics or ideas to get you started on your response. Choose one or two questions from this list that are important to you and post your response in the discussion board for Week 2, then respond to a couple of your classmates to get full credit this week.
BONUS POINT:
At the end of your post please tell us the highest number of steps you took in one day during this week. (I had 19,974 on Saturday and I did an extra 26 before bed to be sure and hit 20,000)!
What was something that you discovered about your walking habits?
Did you walk more because you were wearing the pedometer?
Did you listen to music when you walked, did it make the time go faster?
Did you walk more or less than you thought you did?
Did you try to increase the number of steps you took each day, competing against yourself?
Do you think this is a good tool for children, would it motivate them to be more active? Why or why not?
Will you continue wearing the pedometer once the class is over?
What could you do to increase the number of steps you take each day?
Remember to reply to at least two of your fellow students. It is that type of interactive discussion that will make our class a success and ultimately earning you more points in the end!
Sometime this week (by Friday at the latest) please respond to at least 2 other students in the class. Your responses should be meaningful and relevant to the discussion. “I agree with you” is not a meaningful response.
