Social Media Site Creation & Calendar

Using this week’s instructional videos, you will choose one of the listed social media platforms and create a business profile and page. You must fill out all relevant aspects of that platform’s profile using your brand style guide to create a professional looking site. For example, some of the social media platforms require you to create a business username and post a one or more profile pictures.

You are encouraged, but not required, to set this page up in a way that will support your ability to attract patients to your current practice in the student clinic. If you choose to do this, please review the “Acceptable Student Marketing and Advertisement” section of your Natural Care Clinic Student Handbook to assure that your social media page is compliant with these guidelines.

  1. Please submit the name of the platform you have selected, your user or business name handle, and the URL of your page.
  2. Once you have created your page, you will need to create a weekly social media calendar that indicates how often you plan to post updates to your platform throughout the week, and what type of content will be associated with your scheduled posts. This calendar should be submitted with the information contained in number one.
  3. Finally, using your social media calendar, make one post to your platform in accordance with your weekly calendar.

Your social media business page and post should be set for the public to view. To evaluate your social media page and posting, your instructor will “like,” “follow,” or send a request for a linked connection as appropriate to the platform.
