Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday:

7:30am – 9:00am: Wake up/me time (business/talk time with husband, meditation, review/respond to emails/texts)

9:00am – 10:45am: Shower, breakfast, prepare for work

11:00am – 8:30pm: Office/see clients and admin work

9:00pm – 10:00pm: Dinner, shower, exercise (some evenings)

10:30pm – until: Homework, then bed

Thursday:

8:00am – 9:30am: Wake up/me time (business/talk time with husband, meditation, review/respond to emails/texts)

9:30am – 10:30am: Shower, breakfast, prepare for work

11:00pm – 7:00pm: Work from home/online clients and admin work; babysit grandson; have dinner, etc.

7:00pm – 10:00pm: Homework

10:30pm – until: Relax, movie/tv, exercise (some evenings), then bed

Friday:

7:30am – 9:00am: Wake up/me time (business/talk time with husband, meditation, review/respond to emails/texts)

9:00 – 9:45: Shower, breakfast

10:00am – 12:00pm: Offices/see clients

12:30pm – 6:30pm: Work from home/admin; babysit grandson,

6:30pm – 10:00pm: Homework

10:00pm – until: Relax, movie/tv, then bed

9:00am – 12:00pm: Wake up/me time (business/talk time with husband, meditation, review/respond to emails/texts)

12:00pm – 5:00pm: Errands

5:00pm – 8:00pm: Homework

8:00pm – 10:00pm: Activities

10:00pm – until: Relax, movie/tv, sometimes go out with husband/family/friends, then bed

Sunday:

Open – Clean my home, quiet time; generally, use Sundays to hang out at home, may work on things that I did not complete during the week for work or school; when possible use this day as a lounge day

Characteristics of an organized leader:


There are several characteristics of an organized leader, some of which can strengthen the quality of an organization. Harley-McClaskey (2017) stated that an individual’s style in leadership is one that is learned and is the function of age and life experiences (p. 55). Based on personal experience, I do believe this to be true. I also agree with Harley-McClaskey’s (2017) suggestion that an organized leader may change their usual style after a significant life event. Of all that I learned in this section, the most important takeaway is that flexibility of style can enable or strengthen a leader as well as a team (Harley-McClaskey, 2017). Harley-McClaskey (2017) further suggests that an organized leader should be able to recognize their talents and skills and in turn, find a team of people who have talents and skills that the leader may lack. Finally, being able to recognize conflict amongst the team is necessary for the success of the organization/company. Diffusing conflict is not easy, however, Harley-McClaskey (2017) suggested that following certain steps can be beneficial. Some examples include, a) decide what they want for themselves or those involved; b) decide if they should speak up or if the issue should be left alone; and c) converse with those involved, agree to a plan and follow up (Harley-McClaskey, 2017, p. 67).
