Final Research Paperwe Pull Writing Question

This assignment consists of 4 parts and you are required to prepare and submit 4 separate documents as part of this activity.

1.Problem Statement

For this activity, you will formulate a problem statement that is supported by scholarly research. This is the foundation of your research project, as such, your instructor will work with you to approve your chosen problem. Feedback on your problem statement will be provided via this discussion post and/or the activity grading area, post your response below then respond to one of your peer’s posts.

2.Introduction, Background, and Literature Review

As we continue our written analysis, we will now use the resources we have gathered to formulate our introduction, background, and literature review sections. These areas will provide context for your problem and clarify your research approach. So be sure to consider all the different elements that impact your problem. For example, if you wanted to look at the impact of small unmanned aircraft on manned aircraft, you may want to look at FAA sighting data as well as current or proposed recommendations, regulations, safety impacts, and then the different sizes and types of unmanned aircraft and the resulting impact on manned aircraft. What that does is that provides a holistic view of the problem from everything that could potentially impact it from a regulatory standpoint to a safety standpoint.

3.Results, Conclusions, and Recommendation Sections

We start to put all the pieces of your research paper together. In addition to Learning Outcome 8, we will also address Learning Outcome 10: demonstrate appropriate selection and application of a research method and statistical analysis. Now that you have fully examined your problem, you will analyze the data and state your findings. For example if you used FAA UAS sightings data, what did the data reveal? Were there increases or decreases in occurrences over a five year period? What does that mean for the safety of manned aircraft? These are all the things that you’re going to consider as you formulate your recommendation. Now keep in mind your recommendation must come from you and your research. It cannot be something that has already been proposed. This is where the evaluation, synthesis, and critical thought all come together. If you had the authority to make a change that would fix the problem, what would you do? Don’t be afraid to get creative, but keep in mind that your recommendation should be feasible.

4.Final Research Paper

We pull everything together and you write the abstract for your paper. Keep in mind that an abstract is a brief comprehensive summary of the contents of your paper including your conclusions and recommendations. It is not simply an introduction.
