Writing Assignment B – Module 2
GRAMMAR:
For this portion of the assignment, you will read the Grammar Tips section of the Oxford Dictionaries© website.
Then, you will attempt to answer the ten (10) quiz questions regarding proper grammar found at the following website: http://syntaxis.com/grammar-quiz
It is best for you to type your quiz questions into a MS Word document for submission. Copying and Pasting the material doesn’t work well and will cut off some of the possible answers.
NOTE: Each time the Quiz is deployed, it will issue a new quiz. For this reason, once you click on “Begin the Quiz” remember to type all the listed questions and possible answers in an open MS Word document. You will bold what you believe is the correct answer to the question.
This portion of the assignment embodies the core value Integrity as the opportunity to cheat and submit all the correct answers will serve no purpose except that you are cheating yourself. Understanding the incorrect answers you’ve selected will assist you with learning the proper way to formulate sentences and keep you apprised of how your writing can improve.
After you have taken the quiz, click on “Score Quiz” and determine which questions you answered incorrectly. For those answered incorrectly, you can UNDERLINE what the correct answer is in your MS Word document.
In the quiz, you will also see the phrase “EXPLANATION” helping you to understand why the answer you posted is incorrect.
You will submit your grammar quiz with your selected answers (in BOLD) and the correct answers (Underline) as an MS Word document. Remember, attempting to “copy and paste” the quiz will not be acceptable for your submission.
