The above sentence is what this assignment is and Please pretend that you’re an Japanese international student at UCSD taking a social dance class this summer, which is about Salsa, Bachata, and Chachacha.
You attended a social dancing setting during this quarter outside the class, but the event coordinator was your professor of the Salsa class, and she was a former Broadway Salsa Dancer.
The social dance setting was advanced/beginning mixed level of Salsa dance teaching event, but the class was the very beginning level only.
Please write 2 pages of compare and contrast those differences between the regular class experience and the social dance event. Both of the dance experiences was to learn Salsa and Bachata.

Course Description
To develop an appreciation and understanding of Salsa/ Latin dance and its evolution. An emphasis on learning basic and intermediate social dance movement vocabulary, history of and the use of each dance as a means of social and economic expression.. The varied styles will include salsa, cha-cha, and bachata.

Social dancing under the stars and a special showcase performance by graduating UCSD students!
Tony and Maria Caligagan are former Broadway dancers who have been faculty at UC San Diego in Theater and Dance for over 20 years. Their passion and forte in Latin dance has them awarded by San Diego magazine as the “Best of” San Diego for salsa instructors. They have instructed and coached World Salsa and Bachata champions and currently direct the UCSD salsa/bachata teams.
Proceeds will go to Veterans Who Salsa.
