the class Description:
Students will engage in an exploration of what is art? What is creativity? How does art manifest in daily life? This is accomplished through observation, studio and gallery/museum visits, hands on construction and practice and expression. Students will practice fundamental principles of drawing and color theory through foundational exercises to gain a level of proficiency.
The students will gain an appreciation of elements of design and composition in order to create their own pieces.
