It is critical that public health agencies partner with healthcare to improve the response to health problems. Community-oriented primary care (COPC) is a strategy that can be used to accomplish this goal. Chapter 5 outlines the six steps in the COPC process (see Box 5-6 on pg. 94). For this assignment, you will pick a city or county of your choice and answer the questions in each of the COPC steps. To do this you will need to collect information on the community of your choice.
