Philosophy Reflection

You have spent the last 15 weeks learning how to think and read critically. We have read texts from various philosophers and discussed topics ranging from how we know what we know to our relationships. We focused on philosophy from the point of view of our human relationships (the self, you and those whom I encounter through you) and found relevance for even the most ancient of philosophies in our 21st Century society, culture, politics and economics.

Think about the reading assignments and our class discussions and consider how this course has impacted you (your studies, the way you think, the way you read, your relationships, your perception of the world, etc.).

Due to the change in our lives as we negotiate the new reality of the pandemic/post-pandemic,

feel free to include thoughts and commentary on anything that you find or have found intriguing or curious, anything you disagreed with or took issue with or anything that was particularly meaningful to you. In short, talk about what you have learned in this class. Be thoughtful and specific.

This is an opportunity for you to express yourself freely while demonstrating a mastery of the materials we covered this semester and an appreciation for the philosophical endeavor.
