Consider how your own identity (background, worldview, experiences, etc.) impacts your reaction.
As evaluators for this scholarship we are looking for essays that explore the intellectual thoughts of our students. Your Modern Day Reformer will most likely be an outlier in civil rights, champion for free expression, women’s equality, minority rights, a change agent in sports, religious freedom, economic liberty, and/or artistic freedom and should inspire who you are in this moment and how you see yourself in the future.

- Double-spaced
- Do not type in ALL CAPS
