Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Case Study I

You can either use the follow scenario or you can make up your own scenario for your case study.

CB is a 57 year old male presents to your clinic for cough for past two months.  States he has been
having some shortness of breath when going up stairs.  Denies any fevers or congestion, denies any
chest pain or recent travel outside US. Patient states he does smoke ½ to 1 ppd for the past 30 years.
Patient does have history of HPTN and Hyperlipidemia which are controlled with medication.  VS
130/78; rr 18; pulse ox 96%, hr 88.

I have posted a sample one for you to review for correct format and APAIf you create your own case study you need to follow the same format but you may pick any disease process. You must provide a brief synopsis of how your patient is presenting for your case study.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call or contact me. Remember to think about what is going on and what you think the patient has and what body system is affected!  Good Luck!
