Your task is to rewrite a well-known fairy tale (Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Hansel and Gretel, Little Red Riding Hood among others) with a much more modern & progressive gender spin. Change names, plot, familial roles…whatever it is that allows you to show me that you understand the shift away from instrumental/agentic and expressive/communal traits. Although this may seem to initially be more of a creative writing assignment, you really need to meet the task of incorporation of material. No need for ASA format. Have fun with this!! ( most students enjoy this and it is much longer than that.)
